Whether it's organizing events, managing logistics, or assisting with administrative tasks, volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the program. Volunteers allow players and coaches to concentrate fully on games and practices by shouldering these responsibilities, creating an environment where everyone can thrive. LHS Varsity & JV Players - Learn To Play Hockey Community Service Volunteer Opportunities

An excellent way for players to earn needed community service hours for LHS is to volunteer to assist with LBYH's Learn To Play Hockey Program. To volunteer for these Saturday sessions, have your player go to LBYH.net and click the Sign Up link at the top of the website or go directly to the sign-up page here https://www.lbyh.net/signup.  Once there, have your player follow the steps to create their  LBYH account.

Once created, have your player log back in, and on the menu items, there will be a link below that says volunteer.  Click it and then click the more information button under the heading Learn To Play Hockey 2025-26. From there, your players must click the dates they want to attend and volunteer.  if there are no spots left to be clicked, email program head Kevin Lane at coachkevin@fusionhockey.us and ask him if there are additional spots for that week. LHS provides documents that the players can bring that must be signed by Coach Kevin and submitted to the high school.
